50 Things

  1. My name is Nicole.
  2. I graduated high school with 7 others.
  3. I am married to HL.
  4. His parents branded him at birth with a horrible name.
  5. We have two beautiful daughters, Makinlee & Harper.
  6. We are an oilfield family from Louisiana.
  7. We were in Texas.
  8. Then moved to Okpo, South Korea.
  9. Now in Dubai, UAE.
  10. I have PCOS.
  11. We struggled through infertility treatments twice.
  12. Makinlee was conceived via IUI.
  13. She was a twin but we lost baby B at 10 weeks.
  14. Harper was conceived after 4 rounds of IVF & FET.
  15. We lost another baby during that period.
  16. Harper has horrible food allergies even at 7 months.
  17. She is now on camel milk and doing better.
  18. We love to travel the world.
  19. But when in Louisiana we are country people.
  20. With an organic vegetable garden & animals that supply our food.
  21. I love to read.
  22. I research with books.
  23. If there is not a book on the subject I’m screwed.
  24. I would rather read a book than visit Mr. Google.
  25. I like to sew
  26. I’m addicted to funky printed fabric.
  27. I live in PJ pants that I make from those funky prints.
  28. I learned to knit in Korea by a great Norwegian friend.
  29. I am now addicted to handpainted & self striping sock yarn.
  30. I want to learn to knit beautiful sweaters.
  31. It is too hot in Dubai to wear a sweater.
  32. I have OCD and ADHD.
  33. I never finish anything.
  34. I like to cook as well.
  35. I need to lose 20 lbs but would be happy with 10.
  36. I procrastinate about it even though there is a gym right across the street.
  37. I would rather watch One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, or Swamp People.
  38. I love my husband.
  39. He is my best friend.
  40. He is the most loyal & kind person I know.
  41. I miss my grandmother.
  42. She was my best friend.
  43. I have a tattoo to honor her.
  44. I have another tattoo to honor my miracle girls.
  45. I want about 20 others.
  46. I am addicted to Flickr, Ravelry, Facebook, Twitter, Goodreads, & Pinterest.
  47. I want to learn photography.
  48. I have two cameras a Nikon D50 & D5000.
  49. I try to take photos but they never turn out well.
  50. I say so & well & just & however a lot.
